Forsythia For You

Trying hard to get back into blogging more frequently.  If you've been following my blog for some time, you know that I experienced a chaotic but wonderful March complete with two out of town bachelorette parties, one out of town wedding, a complete office renovation, and a blissful week with KTW in town from CA.  These events and some possible upcoming life changes have left my mind reeling and nowhere near focusing on writing everyday.  But, as I was kindly reminded today by one of the brides, this blog can serve as a good distraction too.  That's one of the things I've discovered I love about blogging.  Taking a few minutes out of the day to reflect on something a bit indulgent, fantasizing about a trip, dreaming of making some wonderful recipe, this blog affords me to drift away for a few moments and dream.

Let's all try to do that more often, k?

In all my dreamy-ness, I forgot where I found this picture, anyone? Anyone?  I love how such a simple arrangement of forsythia tied around these columns with twine makes for such a dramatic result.  What a great way to disguise industrial columns.

Wow! I love this look of the forsythia tied around the beams! It reminds of my wedding where I tied bamboo around the tent poles!
