Savannah-Friday

Friday did not start off bright and early.  There were a few too many cocktails consumed at Jazz'd (see Thursday's post.)  We're not as young as we used to be :(

Our massage appointments weren't until 1pm though so we were able to do some shopping and slowly mosey over to the spa.  We found some great shops on the way.

Nourish was directly below our loft and the scents lingering upstairs were unreal.  We really had fun in this shop.

As I've mentioned before on this blog, bumblebees are a favorite of mine.  I was really excited to go into The Savannah Bee Company for this reason and came out a huge fan.  We actually went back twice during our stay!  The salespeople are incredibly personable and didn't seem to mind us devouring their honey tasting section.  The store is interactive with a life-size hive and videos showing where the honey is from and how it's made.  I bought a sample of the creamed honey-yum!

All of the different honeys line the front windows creating an enchanting rainbow effect.

Our massages at SweetWater Spa were nothing short of fantastic.  Such a luxury!  And we all agreed that a massage should be included in every Great Escape going forward.
